Victor, thanks for your reply.

I mounted Linux Mint on it and that works very well and support almost
every function except for the buttons, which has been described how to
set up on some places.
Can you tell me what brand&type&speed of memory and harddisk your machine has?
Perhaps that is where my problems come from.
And which Linux distro do you use?

This weekend I found out, that the problems are easily triggered by
movement, but when you put it on the table and don't move it at all,
than after a few hours it crashes also. To me this makes it look like
a hardware malfunction. On the internet I found someone saying it had
something to do with the soldering, but I don't know what place so I
first want to try with the right harddisk and memory.

Thanks for the suggestion about the conf for the accelerometer. I will
look into it after I know my memory and harddisk are right.
