Pretty much except for graphics almost everything should be autodetected (though if it's a recent computer you might have to wait for Linux drivers to appear in the kernel, updating to a newer kernel might help).
How you install those graphics drivers will depend on your distro and what graphics chip you've got. For Ubuntu https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BinaryDriverHowto should help.
A list of which devices it isn't autodetecting would probably be useful (though just googling for it and the word Linux will probably give you the information you need).
