[tlinux-users 00555] Troubles with my 5200 PS522C-XK00P with ubuntu

I am running ubuntu on this wonderful laptop, but cant help to notice that I
know this machine could perform and a much higher and more effient rate than
it does right now. my graphics aren't being used to the full potential, and
many of my systems hardware devices are not even detected. Does anyone know
of any .deb or .apt packages with custom drivers intended for this specific
model, or am I going to have to find and or compile custom drivers?
