No, you probably shouldn't be worried (Intel processors (looks like you've got one) throttle down when they get to their maximum design temperature to prevent damage, so you pretty much can't damage them by overheating, merely make the computer run really really slow (I've seen it on someone else's laptop after a fan failure)).
That idle temperature isn't anything to worry about, I've seen the processor of my laptop idle at around that and it's managed to last a few years (the coretemp (which is on the processor die) is the one to look at, the ACPI temperature sensor (on the motherboard) tends to be a bit inaccurate).
Under windows it was probably set up to run the fans faster than was strictly necessary to reduce heat, that's probably why it didn't get as hot under windows. Not sure how to set the fan speed under Linux but if the hardware is increasing the fan speed as the temperature rises that's probably good enough (if you load the system up you should hear the fan get louder). There might be a setting in the BIOS though.
If it's not crashing or slowing down you should be able to just treat it as a comfort issue.
