Hi,
 "fnfxd" is the package you need to enable Fn+Fx keys and "toshset" too. You'll find those on repo's.
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install fnfxd
$ sudo apt-get install toshset
$ sudo fnfxd       is launching the application.
For me doesn't work toshiba_acpi module or omnibook driver ( I have InsydeH2O BIOS) so I couldn't test it. Just what I read on other forums.

Good Luck !

Silviu

Hi,

I have a Toshiba Satellite U400 running a custom linux-2.6.28.7, with
omnibook driver installed, on Debian Lenny.

I've read at
http://linux.toshiba-dme.co.jp/linux/eng/develop.htm
about Linux Fn+Fx, but I've not understood if it's a driver for the
hotkeys or something else.

Is it possible to have the hotkeys working?

Thank you in advance.
