[tlinux-users 00194] Unable to Resume After Suspend

Hello all,

Toshiba Satellite A105-S1014
PhoenixBIOS: System BIOS version 1.80
Ubuntu 8.04.1
Kernal 2.6.24-19 generic

When ever I suspend my laptop, either by closing the lid or selecting
suspend within the OS it appears to suspend normally. The screen goes blank
and the power button will pulse yellow. When I try to resume, I can hear the
drive spin up, but the screen stays blank. I have to power off, using the
power button, then disconnect the ac power supply and remove the battery
before I can restart the system.

Any suggestions? I'm willing to try another distribution of Linux if needed.
