Dear Radu & list: these Atheros cards, if they're built the same as mine 
(Satellite A215-S7428) are fitted in the lappies as an USB emulation 
device, and then they appear listed under the lsusb command, and not the 
lspci.
Try using these driver http://www.datanorth.net/~cuervo/rtl8187b/, which 
is a modified version of the original Realtek' (Atheros chipset) driver 
pack.
