  Well, getting the fan to work right has in the past relied on some
'overriding' of the ACPI tables with custom versions, and this
sometimes gets the video card fan to work properly, but generally with
an always on, or on once and never again sort of behavior.

  In the past the admins have infered that this is one of the places
that perhaps we could ask.  Hopefully with any luck, someone from
Toshiba can actually answer, 'Where can we request this document?',
even if it's just from them.
