Well, some backends look at PCI ids to do see if they are "supported",
but since ICH8 IDS are missing, the backends fail to initialize, and thus,
just some ACPI controls are added (like bluetooth and such).
The backends I've seen that check for PCI ids are the compal (CDI)
and the nbmsi.

I'll paste the patch that adds support to my laptop in a separate mail,
apply the patch (which also adds the proper ICH8 ids) and give it a
test with different ectype options to see what it sends.
