  If individuals wanted some specific technical information on say,
the Toshiba/Compal laptops (ACPI information specifically), would you
be the proper people to request this information be made available?

  This was the most helpful, and gives us an insight as to what your role is.

  I think something that would help would be more community
involvement from you.  An example would be responses such as, 'We
asked for help on this from Toshiba, we'll see if we can get you some
information so someone can fix this'.
