And I'm still waiting for that to happens (if it ever happens...)
cause it will be good to have those two merged in one.
I've used the experimental toshiba_acpi kernel driver until recently
without any problems,
but now I own Toshiba model that includes a Phoenix BIOS. However this
BIOS does provide
an SCI/HCI interface but with a different method (\_SB.VALZ.SPFC) and
also includes a few
SCI/HCI controls not listed on the SCI/HCI specification that I
requested some time ago.
Now I'm working on a patch that to include support to my laptop model
in the omnibook
driver, since seems to be made by TOSHIBA/COMPAL.
