DynaBook T3/410PMEへTurbolinux 7 WS
Turbo Linux 7 Workstationの場合、ドライバが対応していなくても、カーネルのフレーム
バッファを利用すれば、X Windowが正常に起動しました。
＜フレームバッファを利用する設定＞
1. DynaBook T3において、Turbo Linux 7のテキストモードのインストーラ
を使用して、本ソフトウェアをインストールする。インストール途中で、
グラフィックアダプタが誤認識されるが、それは、気にせずに、最後まで
インストールを行う（とにかく、最後まで、インストールしてしまうこと
がポイント！）
※ 当然、このままでは、X Windowは起動しない。そこで、次の手順で、
フレームバッファを利用する。
2. Linux を起動する。
起動時にLILOの画面で[ESC]を押し、コマンド画面を表示させる。
ここで、
boot: linux vga=ask
(起動名がlinuxの場合)
と入力する。
3. Press ＜RETURN＞ to see video available, ＜SPACE＞ to continue or
wait 30 secs
と表示されたら、[Enter]キーを押す。画面に一覧が表示される。
4. 次のように、「317」を入力する。
Enter mode number or 'scan': 317
5. コンソール画面がフレームバッファモードで起動され、先頭にペンギン
のイラストが表示される。rootユーザでログインする。
6. /etc/X11/XF86Config の設定を変更する。
Section "Device" の Driverに記述を追加（or 変更）する。

7. startxを実行する。
X Windowが画面に正しく起動されることを確認する。
8. X Windowが正しく起動することが確認されたならば、常にフレームバッファ
が有効になるように設定を行う。/etc/lilo.conf に以下の記述を行う。

vga=791 ＜-- ステップ４で入力した画面モードを10進数で指定。

9. 設定ファイルを変更したら、
# lilo -v
を実行し、設定を反映させる。
10. Linuxを再起動する。liloの起動画面に'vga'というラベルが表示されている
ので、これを選択する。X Windowが正常に起動されることを確認する。
