DynaBook SS PORTEGE 3020CT (PAP302JA) に、VineLinux3.0をインストールしました。
pcmcianet.imgで立ち上げ、DHCPでFTPサイトよりスムーズにインストールが進み、
あと少しで終わるというところで、障害発生。Vineのホームページに "テキストイン
ストーラにバグがある" とのアナウンス。
しかし、"FTPサイトのインストーラは、修正されている"ともあったので、いくつかの
サイトで試してみましたが、ダメでした。仕方なく、Xの設定はスキップして、インス
トール後に手動設定しました。
その他は、何の障害もなくスムーズにインストールすることが出来ました。
因に、Vine2.6だとネットワークカードを認識しないのか、そのままではFTPインストー
ルは出来ませんでした。
OpenOffice.org1.1もインストールして、「快適に使っています」と、言いたいところ
ですが、あまりに遅いので、ttyで使っています。
あと、Vineは3.0になってKONがパッケージに入っていません。フレームバッファコン
ソールを有効にしないとxconfigratorが日本語化されているので、文字化けして苦労
します。boot: linux vga=0x303 ですね。
使用したネットワークカードは、I・O DATAのPCLA/TE、 メモリは64Mです。

私の、Xorg.confです。間違ったことをしているかもしれませんが、使えています。
