Tecra8000/RH9 not recognize

I am very new to linux.
I have a tecra8000 and have installed RH
9 on it.
I have a 3cxfe574bt card that I know works.
When I insert this card on the tecra linux
does not pick it up.
Is this a known issue with linux/tecra8000?

RH 9 is the latest
stable release from Red Hat. However, I
expect
there are errata updates which one should
apply.
The latest beta release is Fedora 1 Beta
3. Fedora will replace Red
Hat Linux (not RHEL). See:
http://www.linuxjournal.com/article.php?sid=7169.
Fedora 1 stable is
scheduled for early November.
