Has anyone made WiFi work yet? Mine is *almost* working but not quite, and that is using the latest kernel (2.4.18), pcmcia (3.1.33), wireless tools(23) and the orinoco driver from the pcmcia package... It looks to me as a problem with the orinoco driver, but it would be nice to hear otherwise...

Dear all,

This is a message (from the SourceForge PCMCIA Wireless forum) I received this morning and will try later today...

Subject: [pcmcia-cs - Wireless Adapters] a patch that works

After searching in "the" wireless mailing list archive I found this
letter:

http://lists.samba.org/pipermail/wireless/2002-April/004017.html

which says that a transmit timeout bug has been fixed and with pointers to some source. I compiled the new source (orinoco 0.10a) and tried with kernel 2.4.18. So far, it works perfect.

Thanks!
