[tlinux-users-j:03459] Can X resolution be set to 1024x768 on Satellite J10? Tue, 25 Nov 2003

I installed RH9 (ftp version) on DynaBook Satellite J10 but was unable
to set the X resolution to 800x600 and over.
And then, I tried to modify the X resolution through the display settings
(redhat-config-xfree96). But in consequence, I just logged out of the
system, or the X resolution returned to 800x600 when restarting the
system. Can the resolution be set to 1024x768?

The "Monitor Type" in the display settings may not have been set; it could
have been "Unknown Monitor".
Manually change it to "Generic Non-Interlaced SVGA 1024x768 @60Hz,
800x600". And, the resolution will be set to 1024x768.
