Build essential packages by System-Administration-Synaptic Package Manager
Insert Ubuntu CD, in SPM go to edit- Add CD-ROM
In Build-essential, Mark for Installation
Apply for marked changes

Download the driver from
http://snapshots.madwifi.org/special/madwifi-ng-r2756+ar5007.tar.gz

cd madwifi-ng-r2756+ar5007
make
sudo make install
sudo modprobe ath_pci
sudo reboot
LAN
 sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list

add this line to the bottom
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/timg-tpi/ubuntu hardy main

Exit and save changes
sudo apt-get update
start Synaptic Package Manager
Find "linux-headers-2.6.24-19-generic,linux image" click to install Accept any other packages that it needs to install
reboot when finished.
