good news for all, who were fighting with RH8 and this wonderful
laptop.
First, there is a solution to be able to install RH8 on
the machine,
works for most cases. You'll have to update the BIOS from
the original
one to latest, downloadable from Toshiba!
And now, a few minutes ago I installed RedHat 9 without
any problems
on my Toshiba. It looks wonderful, everything works from
scratch: APM,
Wireless LAN including Netgear cards and firewire!
Get the latest Linux Distribution RH9 from RedHat and have
fun with
your Toshiba :-)
