On another installation memo
on this site, there is a description that "hw.pci.enable_io_modes=0".
I was able to install FreeBSD 5.3 and 5.4 according to this
memo but I found that without this line,
I can also start up the linux properly by just setting the
Controller Mode to CardBus/16-bit in
Bios configuration.
Even the sound driver can be installed normally.
Just my 2 cents.
