| 07/10/2000 [tlinux-users:00727] I use RedHat 6.2 with 2.2.24 or 2.2.16 on T8000. I have had some machine lopckups with PCMCIA. If I insert my 3COM 10/100 NIC card in while it is connected to my interanet, or if I forget and remove my modem card while the phone is plugged in, my computer will sometimes hang. How can I fix this problem? |

| 03/01/2000 [tlinux-users:00398] My machine is Tecra8000 with Red Hat 6.1 and Windows98. I am using 3Com U.S. Robotics 56K Message Modem (External). In dual boot system, Windows98 has no problem for this modem, but Linux 6.1 has problem. It says "Modem Ready" but in the connection to the ISP here is no progress. |

I am using SuSE 6.3 with the 2.2.13 kernel. After the installation of the linx568 driver (ltmodem.o...) i can connect to the internet via wvdial but only one time. After a reboot I i cannot connect anymore. What can I do? |
